February Newsletter Now Live – Spotlight on This Week’s Isle of Wight Farming Conference
February 9, 2026

Our February Wight Rural Hub newsletter is now live, with a special focus on this Thursday’s Isle of Wight Farming Conference at Barton Manor.

With just days to go, this month’s feature article gives a full overview of the conference programme, including keynote speaker William Chase of Willy’s ACV and three expert panel sessions exploring technology, building the right team and strengthening business and personal resilience.

The conference is designed to be practical, honest and grounded in real farming experience, a chance to step back from the day-to-day, hear fresh perspectives and reconnect with fellow Island farmers and advisers.

Tickets are still available at just £15, including lunch and refreshments. The ticket price has been intentionally kept low thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, helping ensure the event remains accessible to the Island’s farming community.

Alongside the conference feature, the February newsletter also includes our regular round-up of local events, funding opportunities, guidance and practical resources for farmers and land managers across the Isle of Wight.

If you haven’t yet booked for Thursday, there is still time. We would be delighted to welcome you for what promises to be a positive and uplifting day for Island agriculture.
