Landscape Connections Woodland Event

Do you own or manage a woodland in the West Wight?

We are pleased to announce an invitation to attend Isle of Wight National Landscapes ‘Landscapes Connections’ Project evening on 28 August. This event is aimed at landowners and woodland owners located west of Newport (see attached map for more info). This is a free event and refreshments will be provided, however numbers are required for catering. Please see message below from Richard Grogan, IWNL Manager:

The Isle of Wight National Landscape Partnership in collaboration with the IW Woodland Forum and IW Coppice Group would like to invite you to an event at 7.00pm on 28^th August 2025 at Calbourne Mill PO40 4JN

To discuss engagement with the IWNL’s ‘Landscape Connections’ Project and eight-year scheme to recover nature across the west Wight from Newport to Yarmouth.

The event will include a presentation by IWNL on the project and seek opinions about the management of existing woodlands and creation of new ones.
